The FreeFlight Systems Rangr FDL 1090 TX Transmitter with 1201 functions as an ADS-B “Out” only unit.

FreeFlight’s Rangr FDL 1090 TX Transmitter was designed for aircraft operating above 18,000 feet.  It is a light weight and cost effective ADS-B solution designed for Business Aviation.  This Mode S Transmitter has a panel mounted controller and built-in altitude encoder.  The display interface comes equipped with a sunlight-readable, backlit LED display and has positive control knobs and push buttons for easy squawk code entry.

The FDL 1090 TX can be configured with FreeFlight’s certified 1201 WAAS/GPS for complete ADS-B “Out” compliance.  This remote transponder is dual-install capable and may be mounted anywhere within the airframe.
